This competition has become, for many Indiana artists, the best exhibition in the state, surpassing even the Hoosier Salon in quality of representational work and continues every year to be better than the one before. At the opening reception, the event was again well attended crowded with collectors from all over the state on hand to purchase. Brown County, with it's rich art history as an art colony, has been on the "A list" for collectors many years and enjoyed recognition nationwide.

Todd was fortunate to be awarded an Award of Excellence  for his painting "The Harbor as the Sun Sets" (24"x36" oil on linen) at this year's competition. This painting can be viewed in the Seascape collection of the website.
